A Summer Day at The Mount Nelson with Minki

There are few places that capture the romance of a Cape Town summer quite like the Mount Nelson and it provided the perfect backdrop for a very special day with the beautiful Minki.

For our latest Madison shoot, we spent the day exploring the iconic hotel and its gardens, styling Minki in some of our favourite pieces from our new summer offering. Think effortless dresses, beautiful knits, relaxed tailoring and those standout pieces that make getting dressed for summer feel wonderfully easy.

The Madison Summer Edit

This season is all about clothes that feel as good as they look — pieces that can take you from a leisurely lunch to sundowners, a summer celebration or a much-anticipated holiday.

Minki wore a selection of new arrivals from some of our favourite local and international labels, including RIXO, Le Temps des Cerises, and more. Each look was chosen by Debbie with the Madison woman in mind: feminine without feeling fussy, contemporary yet timeless, and always with that little something special.

There were flowing silhouettes and joyful prints, easy separates and beautifully considered details — the kind of pieces you find yourself reaching for again and again throughout the season.

Behind the Scenes

The Mount Nelson gave us endless inspiration. From its famous pink façade and elegant interiors to the lush gardens and palm-lined pathways, every corner brought a different mood to the shoot.

But more than anything, it was simply an amazing day out.

Between outfit changes, photographs and plenty of laughter, Minki brought each look to life with her wonderfully natural sense of style. The result feels exactly like the summer we have in mind at Madison: polished but never overdone, colourful, confident and ready to be enjoyed.
