Cascade Skirt

An elegant and comfortable elasticated skirt matched with an artwork by South African artist and printmaker, Bevan de Wet. 

Bevan’s practice seeks to create systems of order in a world that is complex and chaotic - a perfect fit for Romaria. The original 'Cascade' artwork is nothing short of breathtaking IRL, it is part of a series of handmade paper layers, carefully cut out of in creation of the graphic forms reinterpreted into our skirt. 

'Set up' with the Cascade Cardi, or not, that's totally up to you. :)

Product Details 

• 100% cotton, medium weight knit
  
• Elasticated high waist, midi length
• Black, cream, white
• Delicate machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30° maximum, or cold water is recommended. Flat dry away from direct sunlight. Please refer to detailed caring instructions here.
  

• S/M generally fits size 32-34 & size L/XL generally fits size 36-38-40. Due to the forgiving nature of knitwear, our sizes can either go slightly up or down. 

Romaria was established in South Africa with European influence. Founded in 2019 by Carla Pinto and Zydia Botes, it is a collaborative venture focused on creating effortlessly cool statement pieces that the designers themselves proudly wear.

The name ‘Romaria’ derives from Carla’s Portuguese roots which translates to ‘pilgrimage’ or moving forward together, fitting for a brand that believes in interconnectedness and the art of ‘weaving’ together towards a better designed and sustainable future.
